I’ve been hanging around the blogosphere in various guises for 4 years now. I used to blog under the pseudonym Cassilis and have written very occassionally for the Wardman Wire, Liberal Conspiracy and a couple of Iain Dale’s ‘Guide to Blogging’ books. I also helped Iain design his current blog template and amateur web design is another hobby…

I write occassionally for the ‘Talk Issues’ blog hosted by the Democratic Society and with their help & support produce a regular ‘Thinktank Roundup’. Distributed to more than 100 policy professionals, academics, journalists and bloggers the roundup summarises the key thinktank output for the week and looks ahead to various thinktank events.

Few of my family & friends share my enthusiasm for politics (they’re normal you see) so this blog is my outlet. You’ll no doubt find other bits and pieces too on art, literature and anything else that takes my fancy – feel free to join in.
